Arsenal revive interest in Kenan Yildiz after missing out on a deal for Vinicius Junior.
Arsenal
As per the latest transfer news, Arsenal are plotting a fresh move for Kenan Yildiz. The move follows their failure to land Vinicius Junior this summer. The Gunners had hoped to sign the Real Madrid winger, but their focus has now turned to the Juventus star.
Arsenal Weigh Renewed Approach For Kenan Yildiz
As reported by Metro, Arsenal made an early enquiry for Kenan Yildiz back in June. Juventus, though, quickly rejected that approach. The Turkish forward isn’t for sale this summer, the club insists. The north London club first registered their interest weeks ago. That was well before the Vinicius Junior deal collapsed.
Christos Tzolis already joined from Club Brugge this summer in a £34 million deal, adding depth on that flank. Even so, another attacking option still matters a great deal to the club. Losing out on Vinicius Junior has clearly been a blow for the Gunners.
The 21-year-old was also on their radar a year ago, so this now looks like a familiar story repeating months later. Arteta wants his squad settled well before the transfer window shuts on September 1. Adding another sharp, direct wide player would give him real balance across the front line for the season ahead.
Juventus Contract Stance Complicates Transfer Plans
The Old Lady holds a clearly stronger position in these talks. He signed a new contract in February that keeps him there until 2030. That long contract gives Juventus little reason to rush into a sale. Meanwhile, the numbers involved remain steep.
Chelsea and Manchester United also showed interest in him a year ago, alongside Arsenal. Juventus held out for close to £85.7 million then, and that price has barely shifted since. As reported by Yahoo Sports, the club view Kenan Yildiz as a cornerstone of their long-term project. That belief only strengthens their resolve to keep hold of him, whatever the size of any incoming offer.
Despite the cost, interest from north London has not eased in recent weeks. Missing out on a marquee forward has pushed the club to think again about names once seen as out of reach. Still, talks are unlikely to move quickly at this stage.

Kenan Yildiz Fitness And Rising Price Tag
On the pitch, the case for chasing Kenan Yildiz remains strong. He won Serie A’s Rising Star award last season after a fine breakout campaign. He also finished last season with 11 goals and 9 assists in 47 outings for the club, numbers that support his rising profile. That kind of form explains why other clubs keep showing interest.

However, his summer has not gone entirely to plan. A troublesome calf issue disrupted his build-up to the World Cup, limiting him to just three games for Turkey. A knee issue has also delayed his return to full training. Juventus have been managing his workload with close attention as a result. They are easing him back in gradually rather than rushing his recovery.
“He is a very important footballer for us,” said Juventus boss Luciano Spalletti this week. He added that the player’s playing time is being managed carefully and confirmed he is smiling again and free of pain.
Several Premier League clubs are still watching this situation closely, and Arsenal appear the most active among them. So this football transfer story still has plenty left to play out before deadline day finally arrives.
