Luis Enrique makes Bradley Barcola transfer admission after Liverpool agree personal terms

The Bradley Barcola-to-Liverpool transfer saga seems to be heading towards its climax.

The Reds are locked in talks to complete his signing before the transfer window slams shut, with Ibrahim Mbaye another PSG player of interest at Anfield.

Yesterday, we relayed claims on Read Liverpool that Barcola has agreed personal terms with the Reds, which was a massive update in the context of the saga, as it shows the player’s willingness to move.

And now, ahead of PSG’s UEFA Super Cup clash vs Aston Villa, Luis Enrique has responded to a question on the Frenchman’s future.

Enrique unsure about Barcola’s future

When asked if the 24-year-old could leave amid links with Liverpool, Enrique kept his cards close to his chest, adding that he does not want to talk about any player ahead of an important game.

“I don’t know and I don’t want to speak about any player individually, because it’s always dangerous when you are asking something positive or negative about a player.

“I stay focused on my team.”

That said, Barcola is part of PSG’s squad for the game, which is a sign that no transfer is imminent.

And unless the Parisian giants reduce their asking price, it appears as if the 24-year-old will not be moving to Anfield this summer.
