The latest transfer odds surrounding Paris Saint-Germain and France winger Bradley Barcola suggest just how likely Liverpool is to finalize a deal before the end of the window.
The Barcola transfer saga has been ongoing for most of the summer window now, and Liverpool remains keen to finalize a deal that would bring the 23-year-old to Anfield ahead of the 2026-27 Premier League campaign.
Progress was recently made on the player's side, with transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting on Aug. 10 that Barcola gave the “final green light” to Liverpool on personal terms.
The Frenchman had already voiced his desire for a new challenge and guaranteed first-team minutes after he featured behind the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia throughout PSG’s back-to-back Champions League title runs.
With personal terms reportedly agreed, it is now up to the two clubs to agree on a fee and finalize the transfer.
PSG values Barcola as high as $193 million, a price tag Liverpool is currently unwilling to pay, so one or both sides will have to alter their approach if they want to complete the deal.
The latest betting odds suggest just how likely that is to happen. Liverpool are massive -1000 favorites to add Barcola by the end of the transfer window on Sept. 1, priced ahead of PSG’s +185 odds to retain their winger.

The Reds are believed to have the upper hand in negotiations after Barcola, who has two years remaining on his deal with PSG, refused a new contract and voiced his desire to move clubs. Whether that ultimately allows Liverpool to lower PSG’s asking price, however, remains unclear.
Andoni Iraola and Liverpool risk starting the new campaign shorthanded if they do not add a winger following the departure of club legend Mohamed Salah at the end of last season.
23-year-old Spaniard Victor Munoz has already been brought in, but the Reds still seek a more proven and experienced talent to try and fill the boots of the Egyptian King.
Liverpool is also reportedly interested in 18-year-old PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye, although that deal is considered separate from the chase for Barcola.
Barcola is widely regarded as one of the best attacking players available this summer transfer window after three successful seasons with PSG and a strong World Cup campaign with France.
Since joining PSG in 2023, Barcola has 39 goals and 35 assists in 151 appearances, 101 of which were starts. He has six goals and nine assists in 43 career Champions League games and provided three goals and one assist in eight matches with France at the 2026 World Cup.
