JK Dobbins' career in the NFL has been largely defined by injuries, but the Denver Broncos running back is showing everyone that he is healthy and ready to give it a go on the field after an injury scare at training camp. The former Ohio State Buckeyes star running back exited practice on Monday due to a lower-body injury, particularly a soft-tissue issue.

However, it seems to be a minor injury, not enough to keep him off the field for a long time. In fact, the 27-year-old tailback is seen doing work again on Tuesday.

Dobbins has dealt with an assortment of injuries during his career in the NFL, but he is still sticking around. In 2025, he played 10 games for the Broncos and burned rubber for 772 rushing yards with four touchdowns and 37 first downs on 153 carries, while adding 37 receiving yards on 11 catches and 14 targets.

His best game last season was in a meeting with the Dallas Cowboys at home in Week 8 in which he rushed for 111 yards on 15 carries. Dobbins also had 101 rushing yards on 16 carries in a Week 4 showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals, making himself just the first Broncos player to have at least 100 rushing yards in a game since 2022.

A second-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens at the 2020 NFL Draft, Dobbins signed a two-year contract worth $16 million with the Broncos in March.
