FORMER STEELERS AT PRACTICE
Steelers training camp looks different this year for a variety of reasons. While still at Saint Vincent College, it’s gone through significant changes under first-year Steelers coach Mike McCarthy. However, the team has still welcomed many former players back.
That includes Vince Williams, Ryan Shazier, and Ike Taylor. Steelers History on Twitter posted a picture of the trio together at a recent practice. The three of them only played together for one season, but they each made their mark in Pittsburgh. Taylor helped Pittsburgh win two Super Bowls, while Williams and Shazier were a solid inside linebacker duo for a few years.
This was a big year for Pittsburgh in the NFL world, with the city hosting the draft. The event was a massive success, breaking the attendance record. It was also incredibly profitable for Pittsburgh.
The Steelers shared on Twitter that the draft had over $170 million in economic impact and $1.5 billion in economic value in Pittsburgh. That puts into perspective just how much the event did for the city. We’ll see if the draft ever returns to Pittsburgh. It could be another nice boost for the city.

ADAMS JOKES ABOUT RODGERS
Aaron Rodgers has been in the league since 2005. This will be his 22nd NFL season, although he’s made clear that he’s retiring at the year’s end. While he’s one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, some of his former teammates still poke fun at him.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams recently joked about Rodgers during an appearance on NFL Network. The two were teammates with both the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets and with the former formed a dynamic duo. Adams did his impression of Rodgers’ walk, and it’s a funny demonstration. He said he’s shown it to the four-time NFL MVP before and that Rodgers tried to tease Adams back, but it wasn’t as effective.
