Former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold has been doing the rounds as he searches for his next NFL home. His journey has now brought him to the NFC East.

Arnold is set to meet with the New York Giants on Wednesday, via Evan Barnes of Newsday. That visit will take place once day before Arnold's next arraignment hearing.

The cornerback was arrested earlier this offseason for kidnapping and robbery. He was eventually released on bail, but a release from the Lions came sooner. Arnold is free to continue his NFL career as the legal process plays out, which has led to his numerous meetings. But until his case plays out, any inquiring team won't know what kind of consequences Arnold will face. That is both at the legal and NFL level.

Still, the cornerback's two years in Detroit have certainly piqued interest across the league. Over 24 games total, including 22 starts, Arnold put up 91 tackles, 18 passes defended and an interception.

As it stands, the Giants are poised to have Paulseon Adebo and Greg Newsome as their outside cornerbacks. New York brought Newsome in after finishing the 2025 campaign ranked 16th in pass defense, allowing 214.2 yards per game. New head coach John Harbaugh is hoping to see his team climb further up the rankings in his debut.

One player won't suddenly turn the Giants into world beaters, and that includes Arnold. But the cornerback is only 23-years-old and has shown flashes of brilliance in the past. While his legal situation plays out, the Giants at least want to see what Arnold offers on the gridiron.
