Premier League holders Arsenal have had a busy summer as they gear up to defend their title with some new faces in the squad

After making Bruno Guimaraes their fourth senior summer signing, Arsenal are preparing to get further business done. The Brazilian midfielder followed Illan Meslier and Christos Tzolis to North London, while Piero Hincapie has joined permanently after a successful loan.
There have also been exits to the tune of around £40million. Karl Hein, Jakub Kiwior, Leandro Trossard and Christian Norgaard have all departed, while further departures could also follow.
Mikel Arteta oversaw a 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Emirates Cup over the weekend and will want a response against Como on Wednesday. After that comes the Community Shield against Manchester City, with new arrival Guimaraes champing at the bit to get his first action in an Arsenal shirt.

Door open for Jesus move
One player who could end up leaving Arsenal this summer is Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian forward is of interest to Napoli and it looks as though space is opening up in the Serie A side's squad.
That's because, according to Sky Italy, Fenerbahce have reached an agreement with Napoli over a move for Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian international is set to move in a cut-price deal worth around £5.12m plus add-ons.

That money could go towards a move for Jesus, who Arsenal are understood to value at around £20m. Napoli are believed to need one more sale before turning their attention to incomings but the door is now ajar at the very least.
Wonderkid Bernard joins
Mylo Bernard has joined Arsenal after coming through the ranks at Crystal Palace. According to The Athletic, the Gunners will pay Palace training compensation for the 16-year-old after his schoolboy registration at Selhurst Park expired.
Bernard, a striker, has four goals in eight appearances for England's Under-16 side. He also scored six times in 13 outings in last season's Under-18 Premier League and played in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in May.
The teenager becomes the second promising youngster to join in the close-season. Elijah Upson, son of former Arsenal and England centre-back Matt, arrived in July after leaving Tottenham's academy.
