Donald Trump seemed hesitant to pick a favorite when asked which NFL team would win next year's Super Bowl, but wasn't shy at all about making a selection that aligned with his public physical admiration of 6-foot-6, 223-pound Jaxson Dart.
Trump was asked by ESPN reporter Laura Rutledge which NFL team he was keeping an eye on this season as the President attended the 2026 finale of the Patriot Games in Ohio as part of the country's America 250 celebration.
The president named the New England Patriots, the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Rams among the teams catching his eye, while once again singling out Dart. Meanwhile, Josh Allen's pre-snap playcalling power within the Bills has reportedly angered parts of the coaching staff.
"I'll pick a few. I think New England looks good," he said. "I think the Giants. I like their quarterback a lot."
"I think that they say the LA Rams are looking very strong, but I better not get into this too much. I'm gonna get myself in trouble if I do," he continued.
"I think you have a lot of good teams. A lot of great teams and we'll see how it turns out. I'll be watching."
Despite Trump not fully committing to his early singular Super Bowl choice, fans couldn't help to point out the President's obsession with the Giants QB.
Trump has previously called the Giants quarterback “a male model,” described him as “handsome” and “like a beautiful guy,” and even joked, “I wish I looked just like Jaxson.”
The President praised Dart's legs and called them "tree trunks" before noting the Giants QB as a "conservative guy." Trump labeled Dart a future Pro Football Hall of Famer and has even claimed Dart reciprocated the love and once told him, “I love you, sir."
Dart introduced Trump at a Republican rally at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York, on May 22 and initially said his stance wasn't political.

The Giants QB said he accepted the opportunity because he always loved America, and he pointed to his family's long lineage of military service and his great-grandfather's time as Treasury Secretary.
Dart's appearance created some friction in the Giants' locker room that was eventually smoothed over during a team meeting after the QB's teammates admitted that the cameo caught them off guard.
The meeting saw speeches from team leaders including Kayvon Thibodeaux, Jameis Winston, and Brian Burns after linebacker Abdul Carter was so shocked at his QB's appearance that he thought it was A.I.
