Cowboys, Rams hold joint scrimmage

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Dallas Cowboys held their first scrimmage Tuesday without cameras present, squaring off against the Los Angeles Rams in a series of drills and 11-on-11 work.

The Rams are considered the odds-on favorites to win the Super Bowl this season, making the joint session a notable early test for Dallas.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said his team got in good work but noted the session was chippy at times between two competitive teams.

Quarterback Dak Prescott also responded positively, saying it was good to compete against a team in a different jersey.
