Arsenal legend Lee Dixon believes the Gunners will secure “back-to-back” Premier League titles under manager Mikel Arteta.

“Well, I think City will take a bit of settling after Pep, but they’ll have enough quality, and Elliot Anderson coming in is a really good signing for them – he’s a Rodri-type player. So they’ll definitely be up there.
“Manchester United – I really like Carrick, though I’ve not been overly impressed with what they’ve signed so far, but again, that’s caveated by how the window unfolds.”
“Liverpool is an interesting one; they had a pretty disastrous year last year, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because of their manager. So that’s four.”
“And the fifth to scrape in… Chelsea. Chelsea have got so many players that at some point they’ve got to come good. So I’ll go with them.”

Arteta’s men are currently favourites to finish top of the table for a second year in a row. Most bookmakers have priced them between 6/4 and 13/8.
Manchester City are second among the other runners and riders, with Liverpool third. Betting firms can’t really separate Manchester United and Chelsea, with the two teams seen as joint fourth favourites.
The Gunners can get off to a positive start this weekend
The reigning champions will take on Manchester City in the season curtain-raiser at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday evening.
While the Community Shield is sometimes seen as a glorified friendly, it is a chance for Arteta’s team to secure their first piece of silverware of the season.
A victory over City would send out a signal to their rivals that they mean to carry on from where they left off last campaign.
