Fabrizio Romano reveals major updates on Enzo Fernandez, Ferran Torres, Rodri, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Jules Kounde and Manchester City's transfer plans.

Man City continue Rodri talks with Barcelona

Manchester City remain in talks with Barcelona over Rodri, while their interest in Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has also developed.

“There are movements on several fronts, especially on midfielders. On Rodri, I will tell you more in the next videos to explain the situation,” Romano explained on his YouTube channel.

“But at the moment, I can guarantee that the conversation between Barcelona and Manchester City continues again today. So they are talking. As I told you, it's a direct negotiation and we have to wait until they have a breakthrough in this story.”

Romano confirms Enzo Fernandez talks as deal possibility grows

Chelsea remain relaxed about Enzo Fernandez's future, but Manchester City's willingness to pay their £120m valuation could prove decisive.

“Over the recent days, some contacts took place between the agent of Enzo Fernandez, Javier Pastore, and Manchester City,” Romano explained.

“In this context, Manchester City's message was about the interest they have at the club in Enzo Fernandez, especially Enzo Maresca.

“Enzo Maresca is a big fan of Enzo Fernandez. Enzo Maresca had a great relationship with Enzo Fernandez at Chelsea.

“Enzo Maresca, in the internal discussions at Manchester City while planning for the summer transfer window, always indicated Enzo Fernandez as a potential target, even before this Rodri storm after the World Cup.

Enzo Fernandez: A target for Man City

“What can happen here? Chelsea feel very relaxed on Enzo Fernandez. Why? Because for Chelsea it's a very clear situation. They're more than happy to keep Enzo Fernandez at the club.

“Chelsea believe that the problems were in the players' camp, not on the player's direct side. And so Chelsea believe that Enzo can still stay at Chelsea, continue at the club and be an important player for Xabi Alonso. So this is Chelsea's feeling.

“For Chelsea it's been clear. Chelsea want £120m. Manchester City, on their side, are not expected to spend this money. So Man City hope there could be room for negotiation for Enzo Fernandez.

“This is the situation around Enzo. It can depend on the price. If Chelsea can reduce the price in the next days, for Manchester City it could be a possibility.

“If the price remains £120m, the deal for Enzo Fernandez to Man City can still be considered complicated. So it really depends on the numbers, on the financials of this deal.

“Don't forget in this saga also how tense the situation was between Chelsea, Man City and Maresca about the appointment of the manager at Manchester City. Don't underestimate this because Chelsea want to be happy in terms of the transfer fee if this deal has to happen.

“For Chelsea a case of ‘take it or leave it’ in a few days because Chelsea don't want to negotiate close to the end of the window.”

Man City also targeting Pedro Porro

Manchester City have held talks over Pedro Porro, but Tottenham's valuation and willingness to keep the player are creating another obstacle.

Romain explained: “Manchester City have an interest in Pedro Porro. Manchester City spoke with the agents of Pedro Porro more than once, so there have been conversations.”

“Porro is on City's list to replace Savinho, with a target for Tottenham. But at the moment the gap in valuation is a big gap.

“Also for Pedro Porro, I would say it's a similar situation because Tottenham are also happy with Porro. Tottenham are not desperate to sell Pedro.

“And so at the moment there are difficulties to advance on this deal because of the gap and because of what happened with the Maresca appointment.”

Myles Lewis-Skelly wants to stay at Arsenal despite Chelsea and Man Utd links

Myles Lewis-Skelly remains focused on Arsenal and wants to fight for his place despite the transfer speculation surrounding him.

“I also want to mention something on the Lewis-Skelly drama. This story about Myles Lewis-Skelly, Man United, Chelsea, he can leave Arsenal,” the transfer expert said.

“The feeling of the players' camp and those close to Myles Lewis-Skelly is that Myles wants to stay at Arsenal. Myles wants to continue at Arsenal.

“He can be important at left-back, in midfield, as he was in the final part of the season. So Myles Lewis-Skelly wants to fight for his place at Arsenal.

“The only way to see Myles Lewis-Skelly leaving Arsenal in the final weeks of the summer transfer window is if Arsenal tell the player, ‘OK, we want to sell you’.

“But as of today, this has not happened. And the player remains completely, completely focused on Arsenal.

“He's an Arsenal boy, so he really, really relished the possibility to be there, to win a game with the Arsenal shirt. He was very happy about the possibility to win the Premier League and to compete in a Champions League final.

“So Myles Lewis-Skelly is happy at Arsenal. Then again, if the club decide to sell the player, this is another story.

“But as of today, Lewis-Skelly has not received this kind of indication and there is nothing concrete or advanced with Chelsea or Man United so far.

“Again, should anything change in the next days, that will be on the club side and not on the player side because Myles, at the moment, is absolutely focused on Arsenal.

“And again, just to tell you what's happening on a day-by-day basis, as of today, Arsenal have not told Myles Lewis-Skelly that they want to sell him. So that's the status as of today.”

Arsenal continue centre-back search amid Jules Kounde links

Arsenal are still looking for a centre-back, but there is currently no advanced negotiation for Jules Kounde.

“Questions today also on Jules Kounde and Arsenal. At the moment, guys, nothing advanced for sure,” Romano responded.

“Arsenal, what they can add to the story is that Arsenal keep looking for a centre-back. Arsenal are working behind the scenes on a new centre-back.

“Tottenham are not selling Romero to Arsenal. I told you this is why Romero is close to Atletico Madrid. Arsenal are still looking for a centre-back on the market.

“Kounde, in my personal opinion, would be a smart solution because he can be a right-back, he can be a centre-back. So he would be a good solution for Arsenal, who probably need to cover both positions in terms of players.

“But we will see how many they will add. Maybe it's going to be just one, but at the moment from both sides they are not confirming any advanced negotiations for Jules Kounde to Arsenal.”

PSG complete Suzuki deal as Juventus consider loan move

Paris Saint-Germain have completed a deal for Parma goalkeeper Suzuki, with Juventus considering taking him on loan.

“Paris Saint-Germain today closed another deal. They sign Suzuki from Parma for €35m, €30m fixed and €5m in add-ons. Everything has been agreed with the goalkeeper,” Romano says.

“There is a chance he goes on loan to Juventus. It's a possibility. Juventus are interested and Juventus are expected to make a decision whether they want to get Suzuki on loan from Paris Saint-Germain or go for another goalkeeper.

“It's on Juventus to decide. PSG offer this possibility and Juve are absolutely, absolutely interested.”

Ferran Torres set to leave Barcelona for PSG

Ferran Torres will not return to Barcelona training immediately as his move to Paris Saint-Germain nears completion.

Romano explained: “The agreement was for Ferran to come back to training today after the World Cup. He was the scorer of the winner against Argentina in the final, as we know.

“But Ferran Torres will not be back to training today. And I think it's not going to be the case also tomorrow, Thursday.

“Because the pact made, I can exclusively reveal, between Ferran Torres, his agents, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain is to avoid training for Ferran Torres today and eventually tomorrow.

“Why? Because the agreement between Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona for Ferran Torres is almost done. It's really at the final stages. The here we go is coming soon.

Ferran Torres: Close to signing for PSG

“It's a deal worth around €50-55m, as I told you a few days ago. So Ferran Torres to Paris Saint-Germain is imminent.

“PSG are busy today with the Super Cup and obviously to close a deal while you have to play to win a trophy doesn't make any sense. You can close the deal the following day. There is no rush.

“So Barcelona and PSG, as I always told you, have a good relationship. And so this is the direction for Ferran Torres to Paris Saint-Germain.

“Absolutely, this is the way, and the player not training shows that the deal is almost there.”

Man City loan Alleyne to Burnley as Inter go all-in for Spence

Manchester City are sending Max Alleyne to Burnley on loan, while Inter are pushing Tottenham for Djed Spence.

“Max Alleyne from Manchester City is going on loan to Burnley. It's an exclusive update of the afternoon,” Romano said.

“Another exclusive news of the day: Inter are going all-in for Djed Spence. Inter will bid for Djed Spence. There are contacts ongoing with Tottenham.

“Now it's on Tottenham to decide whether they want to sell the player or if they want to keep him. It's on Tottenham to make a decision.

“Inter are on it. Despite links with Liverpool and Man United, according to my information, Liverpool and Man United so far never reached out for Djed Spence. So it has never been a possibility.

“Now Inter are keen. The player is open to going to Inter, but now it's on Tottenham to make a decision.”

Ndiaye rejects Al Hilal and wants to stay in the Premier League

Iliman Ndiaye has decided against a move to Saudi Arabia despite a lucrative proposal from Al Hilal.

“A decision has been made by Iliman Ndiaye over the recent days. Despite a really rich proposal from Al Hilal, Iliman Ndiaye doesn't want to go to Saudi,” Romano confirmed.

“Iliman Ndiaye wants to continue in the Premier League. He's happy at Everton, according to my information, but if a big proposal arrives from Premier League clubs, it could still be a possibility.

“So the Premier League is the league where Iliman Ndiaye wants to be. He doesn't want to go to Saudi, despite a really big financial proposal coming from Al Hilal.”
