Good morning and welcome to football.london's Arsenal transfer blog for Wednesday, August 12.

Ezri Konsa will miss Aston Villa's UEFA Super Cup clash with Paris Saint-Germain as he continues to be linked with a move to North London.

However, Unai Emery has confirmed that his absence is in no way related to an exit at Villa Park; instead, he is being afforded time off following his time with England at the World Cup this summer.

Myles Lewis-Skelly, meanwhile, is thought to have been offered to both Manchester United and Chelsea this summer, highlighting how the left-back isn't part of Mikel Arteta's plans for this season.

While the Red Devils are open to exploring a move for the 19-year-old, they are understood to consider Arsenal's valuation too high. Sources claim that the Gunners want between £45million and £60m for Lewis-Skelly.

Gabriel Martinelli, meanwhile, could be on the move to Galatasaray this summer, but only if the Turkish titans up the ante.

It is understood that the club have made an offer of £34m for the winger, although Arsenal value him higher as a result of an inflated market.

With all that said, stay tuned for all of the latest news and updates in our live blog below...
