Curtis Jones is believed to be open to joining Inter Milan this summer, as interest continues to build in the Liverpool midfielder in the final few weeks of the transfer window.
The 25-year-old has faced an uncertain future over the course of the market so far, with just one year remaining on his contract at Anfield, and a crossroads ahead of him in his career.
At this point, Jones has to choose between pushing for minutes that are not guaranteed at Liverpool, or joining a new club in search of a fresh challenge.
It seems as though the initial stance this summer has been for the academy graduate to pick the latter, with Inter Milan being linked throughout the transfer window so far, with slow progress being made on a deal.
Two offers have been made by the Nerazzurri for Jones, both of which have been rejected by Liverpool, with a firm asking price set for him to sanction any exit.
Since then, the Serie A outfit has had to reconsider, largely due to the funds available to the club, with some other transfer moves required to sort out the funding for any move.

Those exits appear to be in the works for Inter, with Gianluigi Longari reporting that work is ongoing for Davide Frattesi to leave the team along with several other candidates for an exit.
That, in turn, will lead to the team being able to relaunch talks with Liverpool that will be closer to the asking price set earlier on in the window.
As for Jones himself, Longari adds that he has already "said yes" to joining Inter Milan, making it clear that he is open to the new challenge at the San Siro, should an exit be sanctioned.

It's a transfer saga that continues to drag on, but one that still appears to be geared towards an exit for Jones, which could raise some valuable resources for Liverpool to use in the transfer market.
Talks are ongoing over a deal to sign Bradley Barcola, and with a deal unlikely to be cheap, any extra transfer funds coming into the club will always be a bonus.
There may be some concerns over midfield depth, though the emergence of Trey Nyoni could alleviate any issues that the Reds face at least in the short-term.
That could all result in a transfer exit for Jones that could go towards another important deal, without depleting the options available in midfield.
