Aggie Beever-Jones sets Chelsea target after stunning pre-season hat-trick
Aggie Beever-Jones has challenged Chelsea Women to follow their seven-goal opening victory with another statement performance against the A-League Women All Stars in Sydney.
The England striker began pre-season with a rapid hat-trick against Auckland FC and now wants Sonia Bompastor’s side to put on another show in Australia.
Chelsea opened their summer schedule with a commanding 7-0 victory at Eden Park on Saturday.
Beever-Jones scored three times inside the opening 25 minutes, while Giulia Dragoni marked her first Blues appearance with a goal. Sandy Baltimore, Maika Hamano and Mayra Ramirez completed the scoring.

Aggie Beever-Jones wants Chelsea to build on flying start
In a new interview with Chelsea’s official website, Beever-Jones explained that starting pre-season with goals has helped build confidence, but she expects a considerably tougher challenge from the A-League All Stars.
The 23-year-old expects the Australian side to have something to prove and believes Chelsea must be ready for a battle at Allianz Stadium.
Her target is clear: “put on a good show” for supporters in Sydney.
Chelsea have received strong support throughout the tour, and Beever-Jones believes playing in Australia and New Zealand underlines the continued growth of the women’s game and Chelsea’s global following.
Bompastor’s squad trained at Allianz Stadium on Tuesday evening, with Chelsea confirming an open session took place at the venue ahead of Wednesday’s match.
The fixture also represents Chelsea’s final competitive rehearsal on tour before attention turns towards a demanding start to the season, including a Women’s Champions League qualifier against Real Sociedad later this month.
