There are at least four Premier League clubs with a keen interest in Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, who could still depart Stamford Bridge before the end of the summer transfer window.

Sources close to the situation have told football.london that the 26-year-old wide man is a hot property within the English top-flight. Neto, who joined Chelsea in 2024 for £51.4million from Wolves, remains a valued member of Xabi Alonso's squad but is available for the right price.

Said price has not been disclosed yet, but Stamford Bridge insiders point towards the extortionate transfer market this summer. Particularly when it comes to wingers. Yan Diomande recently joined Real Madrid for a figure believed to be in the £120m region. Bradley Barcola continues to be linked with Liverpool and reports claim Paris Saint-Germain are demanding significantly more than that for their versatile winger.

Chelsea are not actively looking to sell Neto but he is not one of the 'untouchables' at the Bridge. Neto was a crucial figure for the Blues in their disappointing 2025/26 season, with the Portugal international making a total of 52 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and producing the same number of assists.

Manchester City are one of the clubs with an interest in Neto, sources say, with Enzo Maresca, the former Chelsea head coach, a huge admirer of the Portuguese attacker from their time working together in the capital. City winger Savinho continues to be linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium between now and next month's transfer deadline.

Tottenham are the current front-runners for the Brazilian's signature but nothing is too far advanced in that regard at the time of writing. Perhaps when/if the deal does get more advanced, City could step up their pursuit of Neto.

As for Chelsea, they want a largely settled squad before Alonso kicks off his Blues tenure with the short trip to Craven Cottage on August 24. Neto, as it stands, is expected to be part of the travelling group to Fulham for Chelsea's first Premier League fixture of the 2026/27 season.

The Portuguese winger was a mainstay in the first team last term, and his availability and versatility helped with that significantly. Neto was used on both the right and left-hand side of attack last season under Maresca, Calum McFarlane and Liam Rosenior.

If Neto does end up departing this summer, Chelsea are well stocked on both sides. Jamie Gittens, Mykhailo Mudryk, Estevao Willian, Geovany Quenda, Dastan Satpayev and Cole Palmer can all be used on one side or both.
