Arsenal remain active in the transfer market and could both buy and sell before the end of the window

When it comes to selling players, Arsenal know there is scope for improvement. But the Gunners are in line to net transfer windfall from three players if they secure moves - as speculated - before the window closes.
Former Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is a hot topic following his eye-catching displays at the World Cup with the USMNT and football.london understands several clubs are now in contact with Monaco over a deal.
Tottenham have persistently been linked in the French press but club sources have yet to confirm definitive interest in the 25-year-old, who scored 19 goals last season.
PSG had also been listed as one of Balogun's admirers but they are now pressing to close the signing of Ferran Torres from Barcelona.
Regardless of that, there is still likely to be movement around Balogun and that would be good news for the Premier League champions as they negotiated a 17.5 per cent sell-on clause when offloading the player to Monaco in August 2023.
Then there's left-back Nuno Tavares, who came close to leaving Lazio in the January transfer window when there was strong interest from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad and Besiktas.
football.london understands Arsenal have a sell-on clause worth at least 25 per cent, potentially up to 35 per cent. In Italy it has been claimed that Arsenal's Tavares' sell-on might even be worth 40 per cent but that remains unconfirmed at this stage.
Tavares is under contract with Lazio until 2029 but his value has decreased of late, which may impact the eventual total Arsenal receive from any potential transfer.
Then there is English right-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy, who plays for Genoa. The 22-year-old, who has represented England U21s, has drawn comparisons to Djed Spence, who also spent time on loan with the Italian club.

Premier League sides Everton and Hull City have been linked with the defender and Arsenal stand to profit from any deal.
The Gunners included an undisclosed sell-on clause in the initial £1.75m sale of Norton-Cuffy, which also included around £1.75m in add-ons, back in August 2024.
While the player did not make the grade at the Emirates following several loan spells with Lincoln City, Rotherham United, Coventry City and Millwall, they knew he could grow in value over the coming years in Italy and if he moves this summer, he will earn Mikel Arteta's side a small fortune.
