New Everton third kit for 2026/27 season leaked after shirt spotted for sale

The brand new Everton third kit for the forthcoming 2026/27 Premier League season appears to have been inadvertently leaked ahead of its official release – making it the second of the club’s shirts to have been revealed by mistake this summer.

The Toffees’ new away kit was accidentally unveiled early when an advertisement for the kit was put up on a billboard on Merseyside earlier than intended, and now a children’s edition of their latest change strip appears to have been put on sale in a shop before its release, with images appearing on social media on Tuesday.

What Everton’s new 2026/27 third kit looks like – according to leaks

Images of the new third kit in a shop can be seen in the social media post above (with further pictures available on Footy Headlines) with a sponsorless kids’ size top giving us a look at Everton’s latest jersey prior to its official release. 3 Added Minutes has not yet been able to independently verify the authenticity of the apparent leak.

If proven accurate, the kit will be a pale sage green colour with dark green and orange trim on a rounded collar and on the sleeves – with the traditional club crest and Castore’s manufacturer’s logo both picked out in the same orange colour. The adult’s version will have the sponsor’s logo on the front as well.

With no images available of the shorts or socks, it’s impossible to get a complete picture of Everton’s new look but the kit bears a certain resemblance to the olive green change strip used during the 2015/16 season, although the tone and design details are different in some regards.

An official release date – and with it confirmation of the leak – has yet to be announced but with Everton set to get the new Premier League season underway against Crystal Palace on 22 August, it’s likely to come in the next few days.

As was the case with Castore’s new designs for the 2026/27 home and away shirts, the new third kit has received a relatively muted reception from Everton fans on social media thus far, with quite a few four-letter responses greeting the reveal of the fresh look.

Both the new home shirt, a plain and traditionalist blue number, and the white away kit with its blue pinstripes, got mixed reviews from fans as well. It certainly doesn’t seem as though any of the new season’s jerseys will go down as classics based on the reactions of supporters.

Castore’s designs have come in for widespread criticism since they took over as kit manufacturer from Hummel in 2024, although at least the current range of shirts seems to have been met with a shrug rather than disgust, as a few recent efforts have been.

The new goalkeeping kits are bright neon green for the home version and yellow away, with all of the shirts now on sale save for the as-yet unreleased third kit.
