Agents contacted: LFC, Man Utd and Arsenal all want to complete£75m signing dribbling sensation

**Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with a move to sign Iliman Ndiaye, amid reported talks with the player’s agents.**

So far this summer, Liverpool have spent £94.6m on signing Victor Munoz and Jeremy Jacquet, while a season-long loan for Ronald Araujo was also completed.

What remains for the Reds to do is sign an elite forward, another attacker for depth and hopefully a midfielder to provide greater strength in numbers for head coach Andoni Iraola.

Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal in talks with Iliman Ndiaye’s representatives

Journalist Mark Brus, reporting for the [Daily Briefing](https://open.substack.com/pub/caughtoffside/p/iliman-ndiaye-transfer-liverpool-united-arsenal?r=aeiq8&utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=web), says that Liverpool have a ‘genuine’ interest in signing 26-year-old Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye, as ‘direct talks’ have been held with the player’s representatives over a potential taboo move to Anfield this summer.

One source told Brus: _“Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal have all held talks with Ndiaye’s camp. Everton want £75m, which is too high, but it’ll be one to watch because the player is really keen to get a move._

_“He’s decided against the Saudi option \[Al Hilal\] as he wants to keep playing at the highest level. I highly doubt Everton would sell to Liverpool, and there have been no club-to-club talks yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the asking price ended up being far higher for them.”_

Everton would never sell to Liverpool, but he’d be an interesting alternative to signing Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have yet to complete a deal to sign PSG star Bradley Barcola, but the longer talks drag on, the more worried supporters become. It’s well-known that signing the French winger is the Reds’ priority this summer, but at what point do they need to move on and accept defeat?

Well, the 2026 summer transfer window slams shut in 19 days, which gives Liverpool less than three weeks to sign Barcola and to complete their other transfer business.

However, signing Ndiaye would be a very interesting alternative. He’s not as good as Barcola, but he’s Premier League-tested and is one of the best dribblers in Europe. Last season, he managed six goals and 3 assists, with 11 goals the season before.

He’s good, but he’s certainly not worth £75m. Strangely enough, I can see him being very good for either Arsenal or Manchester United. Both clubs are also in talks and need someone special on the left wing to carry them into the season ahead.
