Newcastle United continue their pre-season campaign with the short trip to Edinburgh to take on Everton in a friendly clash at Murrayfield Stadium.
The neutral venue is better known for hosting international rugby but Newcastle fans will swarm on the stadium. For many, it will be the first chance to see new manager Matthias Jaissle after he opened his Newcastle account in Valencia at the weekend.
The head coach could call upon Dan Burn for today's game after the England star's return from World Cup duty, while Anthony Elanga should be fit after the horror tackle that saw him stretchered off in Spain. Elsewhere, new boys Lukas Hornicek, Aladji Bamba, Sean Steur and Bazoumana Toure are also set to see action.
David Moyes' Everton side will represent a proper physical test and a chance to see how Newcastle's squad is shaping up with just 10 days to go before the start of the Premeir League season.
