Everton tell Ndiaye’s camp he’s not for sale as asking price tops £100m
Everton have followed up Iliman Ndiaye’s rejection of Al-Hilal by drawing a hard line of their own, telling the winger’s camp he is not for sale — with sources suggesting it would take a fee in excess of £100m to change their minds.
It’s the club’s response to a situation that’s been building all week.
Ndiaye turned down Al-Hilal’s approach on Tuesday to commit his future to the Premier League, but that only sharpened interest from elsewhere — Manchester United and Liverpool are both credited with genuine interest, with talks already understood to have taken place between his camp and both clubs, as well as Arsenal.
Earlier reporting had suggested Everton’s valuation sat around £75m; TEAMtalk’s figure of £100m-plus marks a significant jump from that, and a much firmer stance than simply naming a high price.
The message is clear: this isn’t a player being shopped around, and it isn’t a number designed to invite offers.
Everton appear to be moving to shut the conversation down entirely rather than negotiate from a position of “everyone has a price.”
Whether that holds for the rest of the window remains to be seen — but for now, Ndiaye’s immediate future looks settled on both sides: he wants to stay in the Premier League, and Everton want him to stay at Everton.
