Sneaky plan to sign Liverpool player for free includes loan this season

Juventus are planning a sneak attack on Liverpool to sign Alisson on a free transfer within a year’s time.

Sportmediaset report that a plan is now forming to delay signing the Brazilian goalkeeper for another year, so that he can be secured on a free transfer.

Sneaky plan

The website explains that Juventus have now come up with a clear strategy to solve their search for a new goalkeeper.

They had wanted Alisson, and Zion Suzuki, but both have proven difficult to obtain. The latter is now closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Sportmediaset report that the plan now is to sign Suzuki on loan from PSG for a year. That will help resolve the issue for another season and provide the goalkeeper with the playing time that he seeks.

Then, when he returns to PSG, Juventus will make a move for Alisson. He would be available on a free transfer from Liverpool at that point, as his current deal expires in 2027.

PSG need luck

The Brazilian goalkeeper is highly rated by manager Luciano Spalletti. But Liverpool have proven resistant to a deal throughout the summer. It now appears that Juventus are now willing to wait.

And they’re working on a sneaky plan to get their man. Wait for Suzuki to complete his move to PSG, try to secure a loan deal and then wait until Alisson is out of contract next summer.

Of course, the big problem there is whether PSG sanction such a loan deal. They may have completely other plans for Suzuki after moving to sign him this summer. Or they may simply decide that a loan deal elsewhere is more beneficial.

That’s for Juventus to work out. They’ve come up with their plan; it remains to be seen whether they can execute it successfully. The number of variables might make that a difficult task.
