Lewis Hall is fit and available for Matthias Jaissle as Newcastle United prepare to face Everton at Murrayfield.
The 21-year-old missed the 2-1 win over Valencia at the weekend after picking up a niggle. Hall trained alone in the days leading up to the game and flew home a day early.
This led to reports ramping up linking him with a big-money move to Manchester United. However, Toon sources are adamant that Hall will not be sold this summer, with Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes departing negating the need to sell.
Hall will not get his first chance to impress his new manager in Scotland tonight. Lukas Hornicek is in goal, with Leo Shahar, and Sven Botman completing the backline.
Aladji Bamba and Joelinton - who captains the side - sit at the base of midfield. Bazoumana Toure will provide assist out wide to a two-pronged attack of Yoane Wissa and Will Osula.
Jaissle will get a first opportunity to pit his wits against Premier League opposition. Liverpool visit St James’ Park in 11 days, with tireless work being done behind the scenes on the transfer front.
