Liverpool hold talks over signing 'spectacular' striker, Barcola would love him [view]

Liverpool have held conversations over a deal to sign Real Madrid striker Endrick, and he would transform the club's frontline alongside Bradley Barcola.

With less than three weeks to go until the summer transfer window closes, Andoni Iraola will surely be frustrated that the only two Liverpool arrivals this summer have been Jeremy Jacquet, where the deal was agreed in January, and Victor Munoz.

After such a disappointing 2025-26 campaign, and following the departures of key players like Andy Robertson, Ibrahima Konate and Mohamed Salah, it was clear that new faces are needed through the door at Anfield.

Missing out on Yan Diomande was a blow, but now the Reds have identified Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola as their top winger target, with the France international's current £145m price tag proving prohibitive.

Things could change if the Champions League holders secure the signing of Ferran Torres, but the big positive for the Merseyside outfit is that the 23-year-old is keen on leaving the Ligue 1 champions for England.

Liverpool also want to sign his PSG teammate Ibrahim Mbaye, according to GMS sources, while Endrick is emerging as a player of interest for the centre-forward role.

It was reported by TEAMtalk in recent days that the representatives of the Real Madrid striker have begun exploring the possibility of a move away from the Bernabeu, with the fear that he is falling further down the pecking order at the Spanish giants.

The Brazil international is said to be frustrated by his first-team prospects, which has only been compounded by Vinicius Junior signing a new deal, Diomande joining from RB Leipzig, and Carlos Espi signing as back-up striker to Kylian Mbappe.

After impressing on loan at Lyon last season, his agents have reached out to a number of Premier League clubs about a potential switch, including Liverpool.

Barcola Would Love Endrick

Barcola is clearly one of the best wingers in Europe right now, as he continues to show for both PSG and France at the 2026 World Cup, where he produced some brilliantly composed finishes.

The Frenchman is someone who has the potential to be as influential as Salah has been over the years for Liverpool, and he could form a deadly partnership in attack with Endrick.

The Brazilian played as both a winger and a centre-forward for Lyon, but his best performances came in the latter role, including a goal and an assist as they beat PSG 2-1 at the Parc des Princes in April.

Endrick has shown that he has the movement and can thrive and score goals if given the right service, and that is an exciting prospect for a player of Barcola's calibre, whose goal contribution numbers are impressive.

Carlo Ancelotti is one of the best managers in the world, and the way he has spoken about Endrick only shows the quality and potential he has.

The Italian coach said in 2025: "He is spectacular.

"He has these amazing characteristics he has shown whenever he has a chance. His accuracy is off the charts, he's quick and he still has a lot to improve with the ball.
