Liverpool will face Como in their final friendly this weekend before opening their Premier League campaign against Newcastle United next weekend.
The Reds have made three key additions this summer, with Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz and Ronald Araujo joining the squad.
Liverpool are now targeting further reinforcements in attack, with Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye linked with moves to Anfield.
There could also be departures before the transfer window closes, with Curtis Jones continuing to attract interest from Inter Milan.
Liverpool have also been linked with Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara. Camara has racked up 49 appearances for Senegal and featured at the 2026 World Cup. He joined Monaco from Metz in 2024 for around €15million (£12.8m).
Crystal Palace have also shown interest, but according to BBC Sport, their verbal offer for Camara has been rejected by Monaco. The Senegal international was reportedly the subject of an offer worth more than £35million.
Palace have already made several additions this summer, including Evann Guessand, Dwight McNeil, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oscar Mingueza, as they prepare for the new Premier League campaign.
At 22, Lamine Camara’s value is more likely to increase than decrease if he remains at Ligue 1 side Monaco for another season.
Crystal Palace must now decide whether to increase their offer and convince the midfielder that Selhurst Park is the right destination, despite interest from clubs with Champions League ambitions.
If Palace return with a bid closer to €60 million, Monaco could be more willing to negotiate. However, another offer in the low-to-mid €50 million range is likely to be rejected.
In a market where Premier League clubs are spending aggressively, €65million for an international midfielder with three years remaining on his contract is not an unreasonable asking price.
