What would you do with Mykhailo Mudryk? The Chelsea star has not played any competitive football for almost two years but is still a talented player with a lot of potential.
The truth is, even before his ban, Mudryk had been a bit of a disappointing signing. With that in mind, you could understand if some Chelsea fans wanted to sell him this summer.
However, it appears that the club will not go down that route, at least in this transfer window.

According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea will not consider any permanent offers for Mudryk at this moment in time.
The Blues will only allow the 25-year-old to leave Stamford Bridge on loan, while including him in Xabi Alonso’s first-team squad has not been ruled out either.
Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel recently discussed Mudryk and thinks a loan move would be a good idea.
The most important thing is the fact that Mudryk is not being sold in this transfer window, which is the correct decision.
While the Ukrainian has not lived up to his huge price tag, he was starting to show improvement under Enzo Maresca before he was banned.
Mudryk really impressed against Heidenheim in the Conference League, which was his last taste of competitive action before being suspended.
He scored a good goal that night and played well overall. While working with Maresca, he was really starting to find his feet.

Mudryk was still not prolific enough for a big-money attacker, but he has a lot of characteristics you want in a winger.
The Ukraine international is fast and direct and is capable of making very clever off-the-ball runs. Chelsea should find him a Premier League loan, see how he does and then make a final decision on his long-term future.
They invested a lot of money in Mudryk. The club should not give up on him so quickly.
