**With less than three weeks to go for the transfer window to slam shut, Liverpool have a lot of work to do to fine-tune their squad.**
Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye are the two incoming transfers they are working on, and it remains to be seen if they do a deal with PSG.
In terms of player sales, Curtis Jones has been linked with a move to Inter Milan.
The Scouser’s contract expires next summer, and so far, there have been no talks of a new deal.
And now, Ben Jacobs has confirmed that Inter Milan are willing to make a third bid that meets Liverpool’s valuation.
He wrote on X: “Inter expected to place a new bid for Curtis Jones. Talks to date, mostly via intermediaries, have seen a gulf in valuation. Yet Inter now prepared to pay over €35m.
“No fresh offer has reached Liverpool as of Wednesday afternoon, but that is expected to change soon.”
Additionally, Inter are also close to selling Davide Frattesi to Lazio, which would open up space for Jones in the squad.
