It ain't an offseason without Jameis Winston delivering an all-time quote.
It happened on Wednesday after the New York Giants practiced at Quest Diagnostics Training Center in New Jersey. The Giants held the first few weeks of their training camp at The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia.
Winston, barefoot, faced the media and talked about their preparations. When a reporter asked him about the Giants' new offensive installs under coach John Harbaugh, he cooked up a spicy analogy, as shown in the video posted by the New York Post's Ryan Dunleavy.
“It's so exciting because we have so many different minds, right? We have five coordinators on offense, and I think that is a great example of the leadership that Coach Harbaugh has. He's let his coaches build a system that is very unique to all of them!” said Winston.
“All of them are doing different things. Just listening to Drew Brees' Hall of Fame speech, I can compare it to gumbo! There are so many good mixes in there. You got the old school. You got the new school. You got this melting pot of greatness. So it's really fun.”

He must have been really hungry after practice.
Perhaps it's worth noting that the 32-year-old Winston played for the New Orleans Saints for four years, so he knows exactly what a gumbo is.
Winston, who is in his second year with the Giants, will continue to back up Jaxson Dart. In three games last season, Winston threw for 567 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. He was 0-2 in two starts.
While the one-time Pro Bowler has seen few opportunities in recent years, he has been a positive figure for the Giants with his leadership, energy, and personality.
