The long-running transfer saga took another twist on Wednesday evening as neither Barcola, nor other reported Reds target Ibrahim Mbaye featured for PSG in their UEFA Super Cup win over Aston Villa.
After the European champions' 2-1 victory, PSG chairman Nasser Al Khelaifi broke his silence on Barcola, refusing to rule out the prospect of the player leaving this summer.
