Transfer news LIVE: Camavinga to Man Utd twist, £38m Arsenal bid, Enzo Fernandez deadline

Express Sport rounds up all of the latest transfer news and updates.

It's just over a week until the 2026/27 Premier League season gets underway, with clubs having been working hard to secure big-money signings. Things have been bubbling away in the background throughout this week, but there's a feeling it could be about to explode as deadline day edges closer.

Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly in the mix for Bradley Barcola, who would be open to a move away from Paris Saint-Germain. Enzo Fernandez is attracting attention from Manchester City in the final weeks of the window, as they look to complete a midfield rebuild that started with purchasing Elliot Anderson.

Manchester United aren't said to have finished with their business just yet, as the Red Devils are keen to fix their left-back problem. Meanwhile, Tottenham are desperate for options in attack, with Savinho and Cody Gakpo mentioned among the potential options.

Gabriel Martinelli subject to £38m bid as Arsenal left with huge decision

Gabriel Martinelli is subject to a £38million from Galatasaray this summer.

The winger has been deemed surplus to requirements by Arsenal and could be allowed to leave.

That's only if Arsenal are able to source what they would consider an upgrade.

The Gunners are light as it is in the left-wing department and have been linked with a move for Bradley Barcola.

Florian Plettenberg is reporting a £38m bid was submitted by the Turkish Super Lig outfit on Wednesday.

Enzo Fernandez deadline set as Man City explore deal

Chelsea have reportedly set a deadline of 5pm on Friday for Manchester City to submit a bid for Enzo Fernandez.

The west Londoners have publicly insisted on a £120million fee, but according to The Athletic, City are keen to test their resolve in private.

It comes amid doubts surrounding Rodri's future, with the midfielder looking set for a move to Barcelona.

Enzo Maresca is a big fan of Fernandez's, having worked with the World Cup winner at Chelsea.

City have already spent over £100m on Elliot Anderson this summer, with the Etihad Stadium outfit keen to add even more quality to their midfield.

Eduardo Camavinga to Man Utd stance made clear

Eduardo Camavinga is unlikely to be joining Manchester United this summer, as per reports.

The Frenchman is said to have been of interest to United, who were undertaking a midfield rebuild this summer.

Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans have already put pen to paper on deals at Old Trafford, but according to Fabrizio Romano, he's going nowhere.

That's unless something drastic changes in the final weeks of the window, as missing out on Rodri has strengthened Real Madrid's desire to keep hold of Camavinga.

On top of that, the 23-year-old is happy in the Spanish capital and was expected to turn down any advancements.
