Manchester City and Prime Video have today released the latest trailer for A Beautiful Obsession – a four-part docuseries following Pep Guardiola's final chapter at the Etihad Stadium.
All four episodes will launch exclusively on Prime Video in selected countries on 19 August.
The latest trailer released today offers another glimpse at the raw, unfiltered access granted to Academy and BAFTA award-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald.
From never-before-seen dressing room moments to boardroom decisions, A Beautiful Obsession offers an intimate look behind-the-scenes during two pivotal seasons at the Club.
Filmed by City Studios, the series is directed by Touching The Void and The Last Kind Of Scotland director Macdonald alongside City Studios’ John De Caux and produced by Kevin Macdonald for Plan B and Workerbee (part of Banijay UK), and Gavin Johnson and Ged Doherty for City Studios.
The series will be available to Prime members in the UK, Ireland, Benelux, Nordics, and South East Asia at no additional cost.
City Studios is the in-house creative and production hub at the heart of Manchester City, producing award-winning documentaries and impact across strategy, content and culture.
The docuseries joins City Studios’ successful portfolio of documentaries which includes Together: 4-in-a-row, ‘Together: Treble Winners and A Farewell to Txiki amongst other player productions.
