Arsenal want to sell Gabriel Martinelli this summer and have already offered the Brazilian to clubs in several markets.
That’s according to Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade, who has provided some rather strong information on the Gunners’ plans for the winger.
Martinelli has two years remaining on his Arsenal contract. Andrade says that has created something of a “now or never” situation at the Emirates.
The thinking is that another season would leave the Brazilian with only one year on his deal. Arsenal’s chances of securing a big fee would then be considerably reduced.
For now, though, the Gunners have a clear valuation.

Gabriel Martinelli has been offered around by Arsenal, with the club looking beyond the Premier League for potential buyers.
According to Andrade, Turkish clubs were among those approached. We picked up that trail. There was interest and clubs there were prepared to consider paying around €50m (£43m).
“So that makes one thing clear – Arsenal won’t sell him for less than €50m. That’s the minimum price to negotiate for Martinelli,” Andrade said.
The problem for Arsenal is that Martinelli isn’t interested in Turkey. Saudi Arabia has also been explored as a possible destination. Once again, the player closed that door.
“He was offered to Saudi Arabia, but Martinelli said no. Saudi Arabia isn’t an option for him.”
With €50m (£43m) required, there are only so many clubs and leagues capable of financing the operation.
Arsenal have therefore found themselves with a player they want to sell, but whose own career preferences considerably narrow the list of potential destinations.
Premier League route brings another problem
Gabriel Martinelli’s stance leaves Premier League clubs as a more realistic possibility, but that creates a different issue for Arsenal.
Selling him in England would mean potentially strengthening a direct rival.
“That leaves Premier League clubs, but then it becomes very complicated,” Andrade explained. “It’s very difficult for Arsenal to strengthen their rivals in English football.”

That leaves the Gunners in an awkward position. They want to cash in while Martinelli still has two years remaining on his contract.
Theirattempts to find a buyer abroad have already produced interest, yet the player isn’t prepared to accept the markets where a €50m (£43m) deal appears achievable.
As Andrade puts it: “Arsenal want to sell him and are trying to do so.”
Martinelli’s position means that desire may not be enough. There is now a genuine possibility he stays at the Emirates despite Arsenal wanting a sale this summer.
Unless an acceptable club from one of Martinelli’s preferred markets arrives, the Gunners may have to carry the situation into another season.
That would also take them into the contractual territory they appear keen to avoid, with Martinelli potentially entering next summer with only 12 months left on his deal.
