Nasser Al-Khelaifi responds directly when asked if Bradley Barcola will join Liverpool

**Liverpool target Bradley Barcola was in the PSG squad yesterday as they secured a 2-1 win against Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup.**

The Frenchman returned to training earlier this week with the rest of the France contingent. Several reports confirmed that he has been ill this past week, so he wasn’t expected to start.

However, Barcola didn’t even come off the bench, as was the case for fellow Liverpool target Ibrahim Mbaye.

And after the game, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi was asked about the 24-year-old’s future, to which he gave a straightforward response.

When asked if Liverpool are unwilling to pay PSG’s asking price for Barcola, Al-Khelaifi said he’d prefer to let his work do the talking, although he appeared to confirm that talks are well underway.

“We’re working calmly, we don’t talk too much, we do. I can’t say whether he will leave or not,” said Al-Khelaifi via Abdellah Boulma on X**.**
