Roony Bardghji has sent out a message after undergoing surgery on an ACL injury that is expected to keep him sidelined for most of the season.
The Barcelona youngster, who had been expected to leave before the close of the transfer window, sustained the injury in training and has now gone under the knife.
It’s a really tough break for Roony but he does seem in defiant mood. “The road back starts now,” is the message from the forward from his hospital bed.
Barcelona have confirmed that Bardghji’s injury was a success in an official statement on the club’s website.
“First-team player Roony Bardghji has successfully undergone surgery for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
“The procedure was performed at Hospital de Barcelona by Dr Joan Carles Monllau, under the supervision of the FC Barcelona Medical Services.”
It’s expected that Bardghji will be out for at least six months as he recovers from a second ACL operation.
