Napoli are negotiating with Chelsea over a deal for Benoît Badiashile (25), with the Italian side looking to finalise an initial loan move for the French defender. According to [**Sky Sports**](https://www.skysports.com/football/live-blog/31771/12476234/transfer-centre-live-football-transfer-news-updates-and-rumours?postid=12219547#liveblog-body), the Naples outfit want the agreement to include an option to buy Badiashile permanently at the end of the loan spell.
The Serie A side value the 25-year-old at around €20m and are prepared to pay a €3m loan fee as part of the proposed deal. The Blues, however, place a significantly higher valuation on the centre-back, valuing him at around €30m. Negotiations between the two clubs remain ongoing, with no definitive agreement reached at this stage.
#### Badiashile to leave Chelsea after difficult spell
The 25-year-old joined Chelsea from Monaco in January 2023 and has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at Stamford Bridge. The France international has made 75 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions, but could now be set for a move to Italy as Napoli look to reinforce their defence.
