**Barcelona want to send 20-year-old Hector Fort on loan for the 2026/27 season, and Liverpool are one of the clubs said to rate the young right-back highly.**
Having already reached a loan agreement with the Blaugrana for Ronald Araujo, Liverpool could seek to use that relationship to reach another, but this time for Fort.
Spanish outlet [SPORT](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/acelera-salida-hector-fort-barcelona-inter-everton-133306540) reports that Hansi Flick likes Fort but will once again send him on loan after he spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan with La Liga outfit Elche, where he played just 14 times. A shoulder injury kept him on the sidelines for 114 days, missing 15 games.
Now, in dire need of game time, Barcelona are considering proposals to send him on loan once more.

The report states: “_Héctor Fort has accepted his departure from FC Barcelona. Pre-season hasn’t changed Hansi Flick’s plans for the academy graduate, despite the full-back’s hopes of a change in his situation._
_“The 20-year-old Fort’s future this season will once again lie away from the Catalan club, but he won’t be lacking offers. His situation has sparked a flurry of interest from clubs, some of them quite powerful, who are keen to reach an agreement as soon as possible. For both Barcelona and the player, it’s also important that the departure is resolved as soon as possible , because the major leagues are about to start and because it’s not a comfortable situation for anyone._
_“There’s strong interest in Héctor Fort not only from La Liga. Some very big names are also coming in from Italy and England. Inter Milan are looking for a right-back and their priority is England international Djed Spence._
