**Liverpool have lost a handful of young players this summer as they moved on to greener pastures in search of opportunities.**
Oakley Cannonier, Kareem Ahmed, James Balagizi, Emmanuel Airoboma and Jacob Poytress were all released after the end of last season, while eight others were handed pro contracts.
And now, it appears as if another key departure is set to be finalised in their youth ranks, with Vincent Joseph set to join Arsenal.
The 16-year-old is set for a move to North London, with his fee set to be decided by a tribunal if the two sides fail to reach an agreement.
[The Athletic](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7510567/2026/08/13/vincent-joseph-arsenal-transfers-liverpool/?source=user_shared_article&smid=ta-ios-share) have confirmed that Arsenal have reached an agreement with the England youth international, who did not sign a scholarship deal at Anfield following the expiration of his schoolboy registration contract.
An excerpt from the article reads: “Arsenal have reached an agreement with England youth international striker Vincent Joseph to join the club from Liverpool.
> Arsenal gain an exciting project in Vincent Joseph. Raw which almost makes him a more exciting prospect as there’s a lot to work with – ruthless finisher as good striker of ball, can play with back to goal and ahead of the ball aided by upper body strength. A loss for Liverpool.

“An agreement is in place between Arsenal and Joseph, and the two clubs are currently discussing a fee settlement for the 16-year-old striker.
“If one cannot be found it will be decided by a tribunal, which is necessary when a player under the age of 24 moves clubs before signing their first professional contract or at the expiry of their professional contract.”
