Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign 16-year-old striker Vincent Joseph from Liverpool. The England youth international has agreed personal terms with the Gunners, and the two clubs are currently discussing a fee settlement.
If an agreement on compensation cannot be reached it will be decided by a tribunal. Joseph has scored eight goals in nine appearances for England’s under-16 side and featured for Liverpool’s under-18s. He did not sign scholarship terms at Anfield this summer after his schoolboy registration expired.

The move forms part of Arsenal’s continued drive to recruit promising young players who could break into the first-team squad or generate future transfer revenue.
The club have also agreed to sign 16-year-old Mylo Bernard from Crystal Palace on a similar training compensation basis and are set to complete the arrival of Cardiff City’s Axel Donczew, who became the youngest player to represent the Bluebirds’ first team.
