Tomori looks to be on his way out of Milan this summer

The centre-back impressed during his debut campaign and his form sparked Milan to complete their £25million buy option.

However, despite starting 31 of their 38 Serie A matches last season, he appears to be on his way out of Milan.

Fabrizio Romano says I Rossoneri have named Tomori in their exit list.

The decision to make the 28-year-old available has come after talks between head coach Ruben Amorim and co-owner Gerry Cardinale.

Former Chelsea man Christopher Nkunku is also a potential departee alongside Youssouf Fofana.

Where could Tomori go?

With the summer transfer window closing on September 1, there is still time for Tomori to complete a move.

He boasts extensive experience at the top level having featured 214 times for Milan and won six caps with England.

Tomori is also a Serie A and Supercoppa Italiana champion, but now faces uncertainty ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Furthermore, he has only a year remaining on his contract, meaning a transfer may not be too expensive.

Tottenham Hotspur have had previous interest in the defender and considered a move in January 2025.

However, a move to north London looks unlikely as they have already signed centre-backs Jan Paul van Hecke and Marcos Senesi.

Newcastle United were also keen on Tomori early last year, as well as West Ham United and Brentford.

A report from Italy has linked Premier League newbies Coventry City with a potential transfer.

Sky Blues boss Frank Lampard had Tomori on loan at Derby County before handing him his first-team breakthrough at Chelsea.

Tomori has made 81 appearances under Lampard, the second-most of any manager during his career behind Stefano Piolo on 142.

Liverpool, who recently signed Ronald Araujo on loan from Barcelona, have also been named as a potential destination.
