NY Giants training camp: Malik Nabers reaches a milestone

The New York Giants completed their 14th practice of training camp on Thursday. The highlight of the jog-through was wide receiver Malik Nabers expanding his participation in practice. Nabers wore a red jersey and participating in some team periods.

There weren’t any live team periods in practice for Nabers to take part in, however head coach John Harbaugh said that today was a “milestone” for the team.

The Giants held a lighter practice on Thursday with their preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings set for 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium on Saturday.

Wide receiver Malik Nabers took part in in practice, but did so in a red “no contact” jersey.

The red jersey, however, didn’t protect wide receivers coach Chad Hall from Nabers.

The stitches, by the way, came _during_ practice, per John Harbaugh. The Giants’ coaching staff is modeling toughness for their players.
