Chelsea have put a deadline today on any bids for Enzo Fernandez as former manager Enzo Maresca reportedly wants to get him to Manchester City.
According to Sky Sports, the London club have not received any bids yet for the Argentine, who still has six more years on his deal at Stamford Bridge, but to avoid any further speculation, have reportedly told Manchester City bid now, or not.
Sky reports that Chelsea value their World Cup winner at $230 million and do not intend to sell him unless a compelling bid from City comes in before their deadline of 5pm UK time (2am AEST).
City have their own issues to contend with in the middle of the park, with Barcelona’s latest $105 million effort to prise Rodri back to Spain rejected by the Premier League club.

The problem for City is the Ballon d’Or World Cup winner is entering the final year of his contract – so unless he resigns with the club, it is better for him to leave now, than for free at the end of his deal.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s concern over the Fernandez interested is also fuelled by news that Tijani Reijnders has been sold to Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia for $97 million.
The midfielder only joined from AC Milan last European summer.
