NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Titans won their first preseason game of the Robert Saleh era, beating the San Francisco 49ers 19-13 in northern California.
The Titans’ 1st team offense played three series. The first one was a 12-play, 95-yard touchdown drive. Tony Pollard scored the team’s lone touchdown.
Quarterback Cam Ward completed five passes on 12 attempts for 57 yards.
Julius Chestnut led the Titans with 47 yards rushing on 5 carries.
Receiver Wan’Dale Robinson had two catches.
Kicker Joey Slye booted four field goals on the night, three of which were further than 50 yards.
The Titans return to Nashville after spending four days in northern California.
The team gets back on the practice field on Saturday.
