Liverpool has another 18 days left to get its summer transfer business done, with Andoni Iraola's forward line still lacking depth even after the arrival of Victor Munoz.
Bradley Barcola, of course, is the top target for the Reds. Liverpool is also understood to be considering a second PSG star in the form of the 18-year-old winger Ibrahim Mbaye, who played for Senegal at the World Cup. Adding more attackers is the priority, but the clock is ticking.
Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the latest transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds. We start with a move that would be very controversial for obvious reasons.
Iliman Ndiaye (Everton)
Everton and Senegal star Iliman Ndiaye has emerged as a potential transfer option for Liverpool this summer, according to Caught Offside.
It's claimed that the Reds have held talks for the versatile forward, but face a challenge to land him, as the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are also in the mix.
Ndiaye has been heavily linked with an exit from Everton over the summer, with Saudi Arabia touted as one possible destination earlier in the window, but that is now seemingly ruled out.

Liverpool.com says: Liverpool's chances of signing Ndiaye this summer seem extremely low, with several factors likely to rule out such a move.
The first is that Everton is clearly unlikely to engage with such an important sale to its Merseyside rivals, and if it does, then there will likely be a premium put on any deal.
Another key factor is the price. Considering Ndiaye's Premier League experience, he is likely to cost a pretty penny, something that Liverpool doesn't have much of in relation to forwards. Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye appear to be the two main options up front, making the Senegalese international an unlikely arrival.
Hector Fort (Barcelona)
Liverpool has shown interest in signing Barcelona defender Hector Fort this summer, reports Sport, as several teams eye a deal for the young defender.
The 20-year-old right-back is attracting interest from Tottenham, Everton, and Fulham, as the Blaugrana are keen on completing an exit in the final few weeks of the transfer market.
Fort could be the second Barcelona arrival at Liverpool this summer, after completing a deal to sign Ronald Araujo on loan for the campaign.
Liverpool.com says: Depending on the price, this move could be a smart one for Liverpool that solves a lot of problems in the right-back position.
Conor Bradley is still recovering from a long-term injury, while Jeremie Frimpong has suffered from his own mixture of muscle problems and struggles in form. While Araujo could cover right-back, he may be asked to play as more of a center-back, opening up a chance for a development option like Fort to thrive.
