2026 NFL Top 100: 5x Pro Bowler Drops in Rankings 1

The 2026 NFL Top 100 list has seen some quality quarterbacks take a nosedive in their individual rankings compared to last year’s list. We have seen players like Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield take a tumble in the rankings, but they are not the only quarterbacks to experience this. Let’s take a closer look at another Pro Bowl quarterback who saw his stock dip heading into the 2026 season.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff (16) practices during mini camp at Meijer Performance Center in Allen Park on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Jared Goff had another quality season in the 2025 season, but saw his ranking on the 2026 NFL Top 100 drop 18 spots to be 33rd on this list. NFL’s Bobby Kownack wrote the following blurb to explain Goff’s inclusion on this list, and his drop in the rankings:

“Goff’s run of consecutive NFL Top 100 appearances is officially up to four. He’s coming off one of his most trying seasons in recent years, during which the offense developed a reputation for stagnating too often as Dan Campbell eventually took over play-calling, but the final numbers — teamwise and Goff’s individually — don’t bear that out. The Lions finished fourth in scoring, while Goff placed second in the league in passing yards and touchdown passes as he put up his second-lowest interception rate through five years in Detroit.”

Jared Goff made his fifth career Pro Bowl during the 2025 season and played in all 17 games for the fourth consecutive season. He completed 393 of 578 (68.0%) of his passes for 4,564 yards with 34 passing touchdowns to eight interceptions. Goff does not have much of a running ability to fall back on, but with superstars at the skill positions, he has a chance to be a star in a tough NFC North.

Below are the quarterbacks who have been named to the 2026 NFL Top 100 list so far:

The 2026 NFL Top 100 list is voted on by the players during the 2025 season. Each weekday, two names are announced via social media until we reach the top 10 players. At that point, only one name will be revealed each weekday until all 100 names on the 2026 NFL Top 100 list are published on Friday, Sept. 4. It will be intriguing to see how many quarterbacks are ranked ahead of Jared Goff heading into the 2026 season.
