The summer window is approaching its final fortnight as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham all work hard on further new signings. Arsenal have held talks over a shock deal for Victor Osimhen as Galatasaray bid for Gabriel Martinelli, while the Gunners have also stepped up their interest in Ezri Konsa and agreed terms with Liverpool striker Vincent Joseph.

Chelsea’s deadline for Enzo Fernandez bids is at 5pm on Friday, with Manchester City and Real Madrid both weighing up moves that will cost £120million. The Blues are also being linked with Arsenal midfielders Myles Lewis-Skelly and Martin Zubimendi, while Manchester United may have been offered a boost in their pursuit of Lewis Hall as they also target Eduardo Camavinga. Liverpool remain confident of signing Bradley Barcola, though PSG team-mate Ibrahim Mbaye has apparently been deemed as too expensive.

Arsenal agree deal for Liverpool striker Vincent Joseph

Arsenal have agreed a deal for Liverpool striker Vincent Joseph.

The 16-year-old forward will join the Gunners after rejecting scholarship terms at Anfield.

Joseph has an agreement over personal terms with Arsenal, who must now settle on a compensatory fee with Liverpool.

If they can’t, then a tribunal will be required.

Man Utd battle to sign Real Madrid star

Manchester United have been told signing Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will not be easy.

According to The Athletic, United want to sign the Frenchman - who has been asked to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

However, Camavinga wants to stay and fight for his place in the team.

Furthermore, the report states that Los Blancos will not force him out.

As such, Man United would need to make a convincing offer to convince Madrid to sell.

Romero medical TODAY

Cristian Romero is closing in a move to Atletico Madrid.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that the defender flew into Spanish capital last night with his agent upon receiving permission from Tottenham.

As such, the Argentina is expected to undergo a medical at Atletico today.

Standard Sport understands a deal has been agreed for Romero that could reach up to £34million with add-ons and also includes a 15 per cent sell-on clause.

Liverpool get Barcola transfer boost as PSG 'agree 42.7m deal'

Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Barcelona for Ferran Torres, in a transfer that could have implications for Bradley Barcola’s future.

It has been widely reported there is an agreement in principle between the two clubs for £42.75million and there is hope the transfer can be completed by the weekend.

PSG have moved for the Spain World Cup winger despite, this summer, adding Maghnes Akliouche to a forward line that already includes Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue and Barcola.

Furthermore, Luis Enrique’s side have, according to De Telegraaf, raised their bid for Ajax winger Mika Godts to well above €50m (£42.7m).

With PSG, who successfully retained the UEFA Super Cup by beating Aston Villa on Wednesday, closing in on the signings of two attackers for a combined fee of £85.4m, it does raise questions about Barcola’s future.

Mikel Arteta reveals plan for Arsenal youngster

Mikel Arteta believes Marli Salmon has already proved he can be trusted to start for Arsenal this season.

The 16-year-old started against Como on Wednesday night and was one of the best players on the pitch in the 1-1 draw.

Salmon was the only Arsenal player to feature for more than an hour and he was incredibly composed at centre-back.

It was a timely performance from the teenager, with Arsenal short of options at the back in the absence of the injured William Saliba and Jurrien Timber.

Arsenal set for key transfer breakthrough as Napoli confirm £5.1m deal

Arsenal’s hopes of selling Gabriel Jesus may have been handed handed a huge boost with Fenerbahce completing the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Napoli.

As announced by both Napoli and Fenerbahce on Wednesday, the Belgium international has made the switch from Italy to Turkey.

Neither club have provided financial details of the deal, it has been reported by Fabrizio Romano that Fener have paid in excess of €6million (£5.1m) for the former Chelsea and Manchester United striker.

Lukaku joined Napoli in August 2024 and enjoyed a productive first season by scoring 14 goals in Serie A to help secure the Scudetto title. However, last season he made just seven appearances across all competitions because of a thigh injury.

His departure leaves Napoli in the market for a replacement and they have been linked with a move for Jesus.

Michael Carrick has said Manchester United are still looking to strengthen further, amid a potential boost for a Lewis Hall transfer.

Man Utd have been busy this summer, signing Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielemans for £35million from Aston Villa to boost the midfield department following the departure of Casemiro.

Karl Darlow has arrived on a free transfer from Leeds United to provide competition and cover for Senne Lammens.

Youngster Tynan Thompson is another new face at Old Trafford, having sealed his move from Tottenham last month in a deal worth £8m (£4m up front and a further £4m in add-ons).

Man United are still trying to strengthen further in midfield and also want to bring in a left-back, with Hall said to be Carrick’s first-choice target.

Chelsea agree loan deal

Chelsea have agreed a deal with Napoli for Benoit Badiashile, after confirming the signing of Pep Chavarria.

Chavarria has signed a five-year deal, having arrived from Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday in a deal worth an initial £16.3million plus a further £1.7m in add-ons.

While the 28-year-old will provide competition for Jorrel Hato at left-back under new manager Xabi Alonso, it's another defensive addition at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Maxence Lacroix has also been recruited from Crystal Palace in a deal that pushes Badiashile even further down the centre-back pecking order.

As such, the Frenchman is set to leave in search of regular first-team football.

Osimhen to Arsenal

Victor Osimhen’s availability has been raised between Arsenal and Galatasaray amid discussions regarding Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.

That is according to the Telegraph who claim that in those discussions, the possible scenario of Osimhen moving to Arsenal was raised.

Although it is unclear the striker was essentially offered to the Premier League champions or if Andrea Berta proposed it.

In any case, Galatasaray have made a £38.4m offer for Martinelli and have indicated an interest in Nwaneri.
