Pre-season is coming towards a close, and Andoni Iraola will be hoping he can get some fresh faces in soon as he continues to prepare his side for the forthcoming campaign.

The Reds have had a mixed pre-season so far in terms of results, with two wins and two defeats, along with the staggered return of superstars and different levels of fitness within the roster.

This weekend will see Liverpool go up against Como in the final friendly, before attention turns to the real thing when the team faces off with Newcastle United at St James' Park.

Before then, there could be some big transfer activity ahead. There have been three key arrivals at Anfield this summer, with Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz and Ronald Araujo all joining the team.

The next targets are options out wide, with Bradley Barcola negotiations continuing. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Mbaye is a player under consideration on the right.
