**Liverpool have just over two weeks to reinforce their squad as they continue to scour the market for attackers.**
Talks are ongoing with PSG for Bradley Barcola, who didn’t play a single minute against Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup clash.
Barcola has agreed personal terms with Liverpool, but the two sides haven’t yet been able to finalise a transfer fee.
The deal appeared to be at a standstill, but Fabrizio Romano says Liverpool continue to remain in talks with PSG and that the deal is well and truly on.
“Liverpool remain in daily conversations with PSG for Bradley Barcola,” said Romano on his YouTube channel.
“Liverpool have an agreement with Barcola on personal terms — a verbal agreement. Barcola wants to go to Liverpool.
“Barcola has never been untouchable. Liverpool are ready to go strong for him.
“The conversations are daily and Liverpool are on it. It now depends on the financial agreement. Contacts took place again on Thursday between PSG and Liverpool. The deal is ON.”
In another update, L’Equipe have also confirmed that Liverpool will go hard to sign Barcola in the last ten days of the summer transfer window.
This is good news for the Reds as they have pursued the French international for too long now to pursue alternatives.
