Arsenal are reportedly in talks over signing Jarell Quansah from Bayer Leverkusen, and even though the story has come out of the blue, it looks like a deal that makes perfect sense.
The England international has impressed during his single season in the Bundesliga, with his form also earning him some playing time in Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad this summer.
Arsenal are now seemingly trying to work on a deal for Quansah, according to Sky Sports, while these points below might be of interest to Gunners fans…
As per Sky’s Sam Blitz, Quansah has shown he can operate well as either a centre-back or a right-back, while he also has a really strong record for scoring from set-pieces.

Jarell Quansah ticks all the boxes for Arsenal
Quansah could really thrive in this Arsenal team if he’s a threat from set plays, as Mikel Arteta’s men have become well known for their well-worked corner routines.
Still only 23, Quansah could be a good long-term option for the Gunners, whilst also still having a decent amount of experience in his career so far.
Quansah came through at Liverpool, and gained some Premier League experience there even though he wasn’t a regular starter.
