The Bills are bringing back safety Wande Owens on a one-year deal, the team announced Friday.
Owens is an athletic defensive back who signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent in 2025 and was with the Bills until July 31.
Prior to starting his pro career, Owens played collegiately at Yale where he was a team captain then enrolled as a graduate student at New Hampshire for the 2024 season. The DB is from Cooksville, MD.
Owens will now return to the roster and wear No. 38. In a corresponding move, Buffalo released ILB Otis Reese IV and WR Quentin Skinner changed his number to No. 18.
