Como have been linked with a move to sign Liam Delap from Chelsea this summer, where the opportunity to work with Cesc Fabregas will be an intriguing prospect.
Delap has fallen down the pecking order in the list of potential strikers at Stamford Bridge for this season, with Joao Pedro still the clear favourite to start the campaign.
New signing Danny Welbeck has plenty of Premier League goals under his belt, and until he departs the club Nicolas Jackson will remain in front of him in the queue too.

Liam Delap has chance to learn from Alvaro Morata at Como
A season which consisted of just one league goal last season has not done Delap’s stock any favours, although the opportunity to move to Como is an exciting one.
The road to the starting striker position looks far clearer, although he will be competing with former Blue Alvaro Morata for a role in the side.
The 32-year-old did not have the best spell at Stamford Bridge, although has shown a newfound leadership wherever he has been since.

This could be perfect for Delap, who is a striker that came to Chelsea with plenty of promise but has struggled greatly to hit the ground running.
The striker was being tipped to be the replacement for Harry Kane in the England setup, although is still yet to make his international debut.
With the performance of 17-year-old Brian Madjo for Aston Villa against PSG in the Super Cup, he is under more pressure if he wants to live up to that potential as the next England striker.

Como is the perfect move for Liam Delap
Playing under Fabregas, with Morata as a figure he can learn from, can only be seen as positives, at a club who are in a very positive place right now.
Como are set to play in the Champions League next season, and have been able to keep hold of key playmaker Nico Paz.
Regular minutes looks the best way for Delap to recover his form, and a move to Italy looks as if it may be the ideal move for him.
