Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo this summer, with manager Roberto De Zerbi reportedly keen to bring the Netherlands international to North London.
Spurs have already signed veteran full-back Andy Robertson from Liverpool on a free transfer and could now make Gakpo their second acquisition from the Reds.

Gakpo has been a valuable player for Liverpool since joining the club and can operate across the front three. However, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool would be willing to let him leave, with the forward under contract until 2030.
According to Voetbal International, Gakpo has reached an agreement in principle with Tottenham, who have now intensified their pursuit of the forward. As a result, the chances of Gakpo moving from Liverpool to North London this summer have increased significantly.
Spurs are looking to add more attacking quality after strengthening their midfield and defence this summer. Gakpo’s versatility, goalscoring ability and creativity could make him an attractive option as Spurs look to challenge for Champions League qualification.
Tottenham’s interest in Gakpo has been known for some time, with De Zerbi reportedly keen to work with the Dutchman even if the club also sign Manchester City winger Savinho.
Gakpo has established himself as one of the Netherlands’ key players during his time in English football. However, the potential arrival of Bradley Barcola could complicate his position at Liverpool.
With Victor Munoz and Rio Ngumoha also competing for a place on the left wing, Gakpo could have a clearer path to regular football under De Zerbi at Tottenham.
Spurs have been busy in the transfer window, signing Jan Paul van Hecke, Matheus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali from Premier League rivals. However, their attacking options remain a concern.
Dominic Solanke has struggled with recurring injuries since joining the club, while Richarlison has endured periods of poor form.
